re-decorating my parent's bedroom?

My Mom asked me the other day to help her re-decorate her and my Dad's master bedroom. I asked her what she was looking for in terms of a style and she said something classic, but organic. Feminine, but still slightly masculine (to appease my Dad's delicate sensibilities), and something with a hint of French country. So I went to House Beautiful and started looking through their bedroom galleries to see if I could get any ideas from them. These are some bedrooms and designers I've found...

blogging about fav style icons helps me through a shitty day.

I have to say (if I havent said it before) that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, from the days of Full House, have been my style icons. I will also say that after a long day's work, I love to get on Google and image search the twinnies.

I have a new hair cut.

Haha, you cant really see the color all that well but I love it!

The only way I could ever love pink

would be with a hearty splash of lime green.

How does one stop being boring?

I've been thinking about that all day, how do you stop being boring? How can you throw some excitement back into your life on limited resources (Arizona) and limited funds (part time salary)? I've been sitting here wondering for the past couple days how my life became so narrow. To the point where the biggest news I could share in a good, long while was piercing my ears a few times.
It's depressing, I used to be so much more fun than this. I've become way too responsible, too cautious, too solitary, too dependant. I want to have fun again, I want to know how I can spice up my summer.
